U.S. Department of Justice Hiring FARA Analyst

Brandon Van Grack was featured in the POLITICO Influence newsletter, discussing the U.S. Department of Justice expanding the FARA (Foreign Agents Registration Act) Unit. According to Brandon, the Unit is looking for an analyst for the first time in many years. Analysts review filings and root out deficiencies, as well as help investigate potential violations.

“Most times when you call the Unit with a question, you’re speaking to an analyst,” Brandon said, adding that while the Unit has recently hired a new attorney, looking to add a new analyst “shows that they’re beefing up in all facets.”
