Morrison & Foerster was awarded Patent Impact Case of the Year at the LMG Life Sciences Awards 2021, for its successful representation of patent owner C. R. Bard in a case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Deanne Maynard and the firm’s appellate team won reversal of a district court judgment of noninfringement, no willfulness, and invalidity, reviving the client’s infringement case on three patents.
