Stacy Cline Amin spoke to The Pink Sheet about the Biden administration tapping Robert Califf to once again lead the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
According to Stacy, bringing an inexperienced commissioner up to speed would be a substantial resource drain at a time when agency staff already are stretched and exhausted from fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
“The prospect of having someone with no experience at the FDA would be daunting to them,” Stacy said.
