Private Sector Urged to Review New Government Cyber Directive

Alex Iftimie spoke to WSJ Pro Cybersecurity about the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s directive for federal agencies to fix known software flaws, with a list identifying which vulnerabilities should be given priority.

Businesses should use the list to pick out the most serious problems from the barrage of vulnerability alerts they receive, Alex said.

“Companies should be patching these vulnerabilities as quickly as possible,” he added.
