14 Feb 2022

Morrison & Foerster advised Alpine Investors (“Alpine”), a people-driven private equity firm committed to building and supporting enduring companies, in connection with its partnership with Wilson Language Training, a program that provides evidence-based curricula and ongoing professional learning to literacy educators.

Founded in 1985, Wilson is a pioneer and leader in championing the science of reading and continues to empower administrators, teachers, and students in pursuit of its mission to improve instruction for students with dyslexia. Alpine’s partnership will help to further accelerate Wilson’s vision of achieving “Literacy for All” by expanding its reach to more students and educators.

The MoFo team advising Alpine on the transaction was led by San Francisco private equity/finance partner Dario Avram, private equity/M&A partner Patrick Huard, and Denver private equity M&A partner Erik Knudsen, with invaluable assistance from of counsel Eric Min and associates Benjamin Fox, Mary Opolko, Rohit Sengupta, Tristan Davis, and Daniel Irvin.
