The National LGBTQ+ Bar Association has recognized Kate Driscoll in its annual 40 Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40 awards among a list of prominent defense lawyers, government officials, corporate executives, and non-profit attorneys. Each year, the 40 Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40 awards recognize LGBTQ+ legal professionals under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their field and have demonstrated a profound commitment to LGBTQ+ equality.
Kate Driscoll is a member of the firm’s Investigations + White Collar Defense Practice Group and focuses her practice on white collar investigations and enforcement actions as well as complex commercial litigation, specifically in the area of healthcare and life sciences. Kate has experience leading investigations as a former federal prosecutor, defense lawyer, and in-house counsel, which allows her to bring a multidimensional perspective to high-profile, complex investigations and litigation targeting corporate entities and their executives. At Morrison & Foerster, Kate is proactively engaged in mentoring and supporting women and LGBTQ+ lawyers within the firm and the industry writ large. Kate is an active member of the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association and Philadelphia LGBTQ+ Bar Association, and seeks to elevate and support LGBTQ+ attorneys and find opportunities to represent LGBTQ+ causes. Kate previously served on the Steering Committee of the University of Pennsylvania LGBTQ+ Alumni Association from 2016-2019.
