The Daily Journal named San Francisco partner Diana Kruze to its list of “Top 40 Under 40” lawyers in California for 2016. The Daily Journal received hundreds of nominations and selected honorees based on the impact of their work and how it has affected the state of the law, a particular industry, or society. The editors also considered a candidate's impact on the legal community, level of respect among peers, leadership roles undertaken, and time donated to public service activities.
In its profile, the Daily Journal focused on Diana’s work defending Kaiser Foundation Health Plan Inc. In that case, Diana drafted a successful motion for summary judgment on trade secret misappropriation, and second-chaired the trial on the remaining claims with San Francisco partner Arturo González. Her crucial work in the case helped to secure a complete defense verdict against Phaedrus Internet Development Inc. “There’s nothing better than solving your client’s problems,” says Diana.
Winners were celebrated at an awards reception on May 16 in Santa Monica, California.
