Eric Tate Appointed Co-Chair Emeritus of ABA's Labor and Employment Law Administrative Committee

Eric Tate, co-chair of Morrison & Foerster's Employment & Labor Practice Group, has been appointed employer co-chair emeritus of the American Bar Association's (ABA) Labor and Employment Law Section’s Annual Conference Planning Committee. Eric's one-year term is effective immediately and runs through the conclusion of the ABA Annual Meeting in August 2016. Eric served as a Chair of the 2015 Annual Conference and Vice Chair of the 2014 Annual Conference.

In addition to the Annual Conference, Eric has served in many other ABA leadership capacities leading up to this most recent appointment. Eric is a past co-chair of the ABA Annual Meeting Committee and the Employee Rights and Responsibilities Committee’s Alternative Dispute Resolution, At-Will and Collateral Torts, and Worker Dislocation Subcommittees. Eric currently serves as co-chair of the Trade Secrets and Restrictive Covenants Subcommittee of the Section's Employment Rights and Responsibilities Committee and on the Board of Review for leading trade secrets and employee mobility BNA treatises prepared by the ABA, Covenants Not to Compete, Trade Secrets, Employee Duty of Loyalty, and Tortious Interference in the Employment Context.
