Susan McLean, of counsel in the London office of Morrison & Foerster and a member of the Technology Transactions Group, was quoted following the European Parliament’s move toward regulating virtual currencies and creating a new task force to study the technology in the article, “EU Moves Toward Regulating Virtual Currencies, Blockchain,” published by Law360.

Ms. McLean commented, “It goes beyond borders, and this is a positive step for the industry but also encouraging that the regulators seem to be in tune with what is going on elsewhere in the world.”
