MoFo Assists with PLI Patent Litigation Treatise

26 Oct 2015

The latest edition of PLI’s treatise, Patent Litigation has been published, for which Morrison & Foerster partner Charles Barquist served as editor and partner Matthew Kreeger co-wrote a chapter on inter partes review.

In the third edition of the book, leading patent litigators guide readers through various infringement actions and their respective burdens of proof; comprehensive pre-suit investigations; potent case themes; strong litigation teams; discovery; smart litigation budgets; persuasive documents, exhibits, and witnesses; and efficient use of technology, jury consultants, and litigation support vendors. The edition has been extensively revised to reflect the impact of the America Invents Act. It also adds new discussions of joint infringement, spoliation, waiver of the attorney-client privilege, the use of mock trials and focus groups, and the use of summaries of evidence, among many other topics.

Updated at least once a year, Patent Litigation is an indispensable practical resource for every patent litigator.
