MoFo IP Team Represents Oculeve on Acquisition by Allergan

Global pharmaceutical company Allergan plc, and Oculeve, a development-stage medical device company focused on developing novel treatments for dry eye disease, have announced an agreement under which Allergan will acquire Oculeve for $125 million as detailed in the press release issued by the companies. 

Morrison & Foerster has been advising Oculeve, Inc. a medical device company located in South San Francisco, CA, since it was founded out of a multi-disciplinary collaboration with the Stanford Biodesign Center and Department of Ophthalmology at Stanford University.

The Morrison & Foerster IP team that represented Oculeve was led by Palo Alto partner Mika Reiner Mayer, associate Amy Rachel Motomura and former associate Marcus Reeslund.
