MoFo Named Among Top U.S. Firms for Pro Bono by Law360 and Vault

27 Oct 2014

MoFo’s pro bono program has recently been recognized as one of the top programs in the United States by Law360 and Vault. Both recognitions reflect our recent pro bono victories, willingness to tackle tough cases, and our overall commitment to pro bono work.

For the fifth consecutive year, Law360 has named MoFo to its annual list of top 20 pro bono firms in the United States. MoFo is one of only three firms that has been honored every year since the list's inception in 2010.

We also ranked among the top 10 firms on Vault’s 2015 Best Law Firms for Pro Bono list.

This year, we amassed more than 100,000 hours of pro bono work, with the average number of pro bono house contributed by each lawyer from June 1, 2013, to June 1, 2014, totaling 116. Among many other projects and initiatives, our lawyers filed lawsuits defending reproductive rights in Louisiana and Texas, took aim at Kansas’ Second Amendment Protection Act, challenged the constitutionality of Montana’s same-sex marriage ban, and helped bring about the unprecedented reform of solitary confinement practices in New York state prisons.
