MoFo Named Chambers’ Japan Firm of the Year, Again

Ken Siegel recognized for contribution to legal field

18 Feb 2014

For the second year in a row, and the third time in four years since the awards were created in 2011, the Chambers Asia-Pacific Awards named Morrison & Foerster the Japan International Firm of the Year. The honor was announced February 17 at a ceremony in Hong Kong.

Ken Siegel was also one of two lawyers in the entire Asia-Pacific region honored with an Outstanding Contribution to the Legal Profession award. The award is given to lawyers who, based on their surveys of clients and other legal professionals, have had a significant impact on their market, both in a broad sense and with regard to particular practice areas.

The awards recognize the work of national and international law firms across the region that demonstrate exceptional client service. Chambers has repeatedly recognized MoFo with more Band 1 practice and individual rankings in Japan than any other firm, particularly noting the firms strengths in M&A and Real Estate.

MoFo has the largest presence in Japan of any international firm. For more information about our practice in Japan, click here.
