MoFo Tokyo Assists Broadband Provider ACCA Networks in $93M Financing

MoFo's Tokyo office assisted ACCA Networks, a Japanese provider of broadband access services, in its US$93 million (11.9 billion yen) Series C round of equity financing led by NTT Communications, Mitsui & Co., Ltd., and Daiwa Securities. MoFo Tokyo has represented ACCA Networks since July 2000 and has assisted it in raising approximately $150 million in equity financing. Previous financings include a $20 million initial financing by and strategic alliance with NTT Communications and Nasdaq-listed Covad Communications, and a $35 million Series B financing by an investor consortium including NTT Communications, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and NEC Corporation. MoFo's team was lead by partner Chuck Comey.
