Morrison & Foerster Provides Intellectual Property Advice on Autodesk’s Acquisition of netfabb

Morrison & Foerster is advising Autodesk in connection with its acquisition of Germany-based software developer netfabb as detailed in the press release issued by Autodesk. Autodesk will also make a strategic investment in FIT Technology Group, the parent company of netfabb. The two companies will collaborate to increase adoption of technology for industrial additive manufacturing. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 

Morrison & Foerster is advising Autodesk on intellectual property licensing aspects of the transaction and the future collaboration between Autodesk and FIT with a team led by San Francisco technology transactions partner Rufus Pichler with assistance from technology transactions associate Nikita Tuckett.
