Morrison & Foerster Advises Tele Columbus on its Acquisition of PrimaCom

The acquisition creates Germany’s third-largest cable network provider

Morrison & Foerster is advising German cable network operator Tele Columbus on its acquisition of PrimaCom for EUR 711 million, as detailed in the press release issued by Tele Columbus. The combination of two of the leading German operators leads to a strong number three player in the German cable market bringing together 2.8 million homes connected and two well-established Housing Association customer portfolios on one platform. The transaction is expected to close on July 31, 2015.

The Morrison & Foerster Germany deal team that advised on this transaction includes Dr. Christoph Wagner, Dr. Andreas Grünwald, Dr. Felix Helmstädter, Dr. Jens Hackl. Advice was also provided by Christoph Nüssing on antitrust matters.
