Morrison & Foerster Advises Viacom on TV And Video Ad Sales Marketing Joint Venture With Axel Springer

Morrison & Foerster is advising Viacom International Media Networks (Viacom) on the set-up and structuring of a joint venture with Axel Springer SE for TV and video ad sales in the German market. The joint venture will comprise the ad sales for the TV channels of Axel Springer and Viacom in Germany, including Comedy Central, MTV, N24, Nickelodeon/Nicknight, and VIVA, and for the digital and online video content of Viacom in Germany. Viacom will acquire 49 percent of, the TV ad sales marketer of N24, owned by Axel Springer.

The Morrison & Foerster team is led by Dr. Christoph Wagner (M&A/competition). Additional team members include: Dr. Felix Helmstaedter  (M&A/competition), Johannes Hieronymi, Dr. Jan Eckert, Dr. Sebastian Schwalme, Dr. Anna Wolschner (M&A), Dr. Jens Hackl (competition), Hanno Timner (employment), and Jannis Werner (commercial).
