Morrison & Foerster Leads ALB Japan Law Awards Nominations

Morrison & Foerster has received 21 Asian Legal Business Japan Law Award nominations, the most of any international firm. The nominations include:

  • Corporate Citizen Law Firm of the Year
  • International Arbitration Law Firm of the Year
  • IP Law Firm of the Year
  • Litigation Specialist Firm of the Year
  • Tax Law Firm of the Year
  • International Deal Firm of the Year
  • Equity Market Deal of the Year for the Activia Properties and GLP J-REIT Global IPOs
  • Energy & Resources Deal of the Year for the Freeport LNG liquefaction facility and the Sierra Gorda copper mine and molybdenum mine project
  • M&A Deal of the Year for the Alibaba share repurchase, the eAccess-SoftBank share exchange and Western Digital’s acquisition of Hitachi Global Storage Solutions
  • Real Estate Deal of the Year for the Activia Properties IPO, the GLP J-REIT Global IPO and the secured capital refinancing of the Pacific Century Plaza building in Marunouchi
  • Structured Finance & Securitization Deal of the Year for the SoftBank loan facility for the strategic acquisition of Sprint
  • TMT Deal of the Year for the eAccess-SoftBank share exchange, the Fuji Media Holdings acquisition of the Sankei Building and the SoftBank loan facility for the strategic acquisition of Sprint
  • Managing Partner of the Year for Ken Siegel

Winners will be announced at a ceremony in Tokyo on June 5.
