San Francisco, May 25, 2005Morrison & Foerster LLP announced today that 15 of the firm’s practice areas and 30 attorneys are listed in Chambers & Partners annual USA Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers 2005 guidebook.

Attorneys and practice area rankings in a Chambers guide come from extensive independently-conducted research and interviews with in-house counsel, peers, and competitors in the respective practice field. Chambers’ researchers spend almost a year canvassing clients and attorneys throughout America to obtain a consistent market view of which firms and attorneys are considered leaders in their field.  Over 7000 telephone interviews were conducted, from Maine to Hawaii.  Tens of thousands of comments were collected.  No firm or individual attorney can purchase a recommendation in a Chambers Guide.
