Three MoFo Partners Named DJ Top Women

12 May 2014

Three MoFo partners have been named to the Daily Journal's list of California's top women lawyers: Rachel Krevans, Mika Mayer, and Miriam Vogel. All three have been featured multiple times; this is Ms. Krevans' seventh consecutive year on the list, Ms. Mayer's second consecutive year on the list, and this is the third time that Ms. Vogel has been honored.

Ms. Krevans was recognized for her Federal Circuit Court win on behalf of Sling Media Inc. in a case brought by Nazomi Communications and her multiple successes representing Apple in its ongoing battle with Samsung.

Ms. Mayer was noted for her patent portfolio work on behalf of Gilead Sciences, Inc., which controls a majority of the HIV drug market, and her role as both founder of our Venture Intellectual Property Group and co-chair of the Women's Initiative Committee.

Ms. Vogel was featured for playing "a significant role in removing a major hurdle in the development of a new residential community north of Los Angeles," as well as an appellate victory on behalf of Bank of America in a case dating back 15 years.

The editors at the Daily Journal reviewed hundreds of nominations from law firms, public agencies, nonprofits. and universities to select this group of women. The full list of winners was published in a special supplement on May 7.
