Two new of counsels join MoFo’s Hong Kong and Beijing offices

HONG KONG/BEIJING (Oct. 31, 2017)  Morrison & Foerster, a leading global law firm, is pleased to announce two new of counsels in the firm’s Hong Kong and Beijing offices.

In Hong Kong, Ivy Tang has been promoted from associate to of counsel in the Corporate Group.  Ms. Tang joined Morrison & Foerster in 2014 and her practice focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, venture capital investment, and real estate investments. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Tang was a corporate associate in the Hong Kong and Shanghai offices of a major international law firm. Ms. Tang is a native Mandarin speaker. She received her LL.B. from East China University of Political Science and Law and her LL.M. from Harvard Law School.

In Beijing, Chen Yi has joined as an of counsel in the Corporate Group. Ms. Chen’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, real estate, media and entertainment, and general corporate matters. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Chen worked as an associate principal counsel of a global leading entertainment producer and provider. Prior to that, Ms. Chen worked at a few leading international law firms in their Shanghai and Hong Kong offices. Chen is a native Mandarin speaker. She earned both her LL.B. and LL.M. from Fudan University Law School, and a further LL.M. from University of Michigan Law School.
