New York (May 13, 2010) – Morrison & Foerster’s Global Sourcing Group has been honored by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (“IAOP”®) and selected as one of the “World’s Best Outsourcing Advisors”.  The top 20 companies included have been judged by IAOP to be "outstanding global outsourcing advisors and consultants."

Morrison & Foerster is ranked second among law firms and seventh in the overall list of consultants and lawyers who advise on outsourcing transactions.

The independently judged evaluation process considers four key criteria: size and growth, customer experience, depth and breadth of competencies and management capabilities.  Companies are ranked on quality based on the information provided by each company in combination with independent research and customer references.

Commenting on these listings, Alistair Maughan, Chair of Morrison & Foerster's Global Sourcing Group, said, "This achievement is recognition of our strong capabilities in outsourcing across all the key global regions. MoFo offers three ingredients that are vital to deal success: experience, scale and collaborative leadership.  We have decades of experience at representing leading enterprises on their mission-critical outsourcing projects; a market-leading presence in the United States, Asia and, Europe; and a strongly collaborative approach which fosters positive working relationships with our clients.  All of these combine to produce strong, flexible, enduring outsourcing relationships."
