SINGAPORE (May 20, 2013) – Morrison & Foerster litigation partner Daniel P. Levison, a member of the firm's FCPA + Anti-Corruption Task Force, has relocated to the firm's Singapore office after more than 12 years in the Tokyo office. His practice has included work in many countries in Southeast Asia and beyond including Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore, as well as India, Australia and New Zealand.
"Dan's move underscores our commitment to expanding our coverage to ensure we are where our clients need us as they expand their businesses while navigating an increasingly challenging regulatory environment," said Eric Piesner, managing partner of MoFo's Singapore office and its firmwide managing partner for Asia. "Dan's deep experience with important and sensitive compliance and dispute resolution matters for clients in ASEAN countries, China and Japan, including his work on anti-corruption compliance and investigations, makes him the perfect fit for our Singapore office. As more multinational corporations turn to Singapore as a base for operations in South and Southeast Asia, Dan will provide vital assistance."

Mr. Levison also has experience handling complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters throughout the region.
"I'm excited to join our Singapore office," said Mr. Levison. "We are growing our presence in the region, and enhancing our dispute resolution and investigation capabilities is a key piece part of our strategy. One of the strengths of our Asia practice is our ability to leverage our knowledge and experience for clients across borders. My move is in keeping with that strength."
Morrison & Foerster opened its Singapore office in January. Located in one of the most vibrant financial centers in the region, the office is the firm's fifth in Asia.
