Morrison & Foerster Named One of Corporate Board Member’s Best Corporate Law Firms in America

Press Release

NEW YORK (May 14, 2013) – Corporate Board Member magazine and FTI Consulting named Morrison & Foerster to their annual list of America's Best Corporate Law Firms. In fact, Morrison & Foerster was named to both of the rankings the magazine publishes – top U.S. law firms selected by general counsel as well as top firms chosen by corporate directors. This marked the first year that Morrison & Foerster was selected to the general counsel list.

The selection was based on research by Corporate Board Member and FTI, which interviewed in-house law departments and individual directors at leading public companies. As part of that research, directors were asked to select ten firms of national scope and reputation they would most likely retain to handle a variety of corporate legal matters. As the magazine's editors noted of this year's winners: "Resourcefulness, expertise, diligence, and loyalty are just a few of the characteristics that lend themselves to a trusting company/counsel relationship, and the best firms have these in spades."

The recognition by Corporate Board Member follows on the heels of several other major honors for Morrison & Foerster in the past several months. In March, the firm was named USA Law Firm of the Year by Chambers Global. And in April, BTI Consulting Group included MoFo in its 2013 Brand Elite law firms, also based on a survey of clients and peers.
