Morrison & Foerster Names Haren Bhatt as New Chief Financial Officer


San Francisco, July 12, 2006 – Morrison & Foerster has announced that Haren Bhatt has joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. Bhatt will be responsible for all areas of finance and accounting, and will participate with senior management in corporate planning and development for the firm.  He brings to Morrison & Foerster more than thirty years of financial management experience.  Mr. Bhatt will be based in the firm’s San Francisco office.  He replaces Bill Twomey who retired earlier this year.

Mr. Bhatt served as Global Finance Director at Ernst & Young, where he had been since 1972.  Previously, among other positions he has held within Ernst & Young, he was the Director of Finance and Administration for the General Counsel’s Office.  Mr. Bhatt received his B.S. from Bombay University in India, and his M.B.A. from St. John’s University.
