“We’re under attack now and our elections are at risk. There is no way this is taking place without the knowledge of Putin himself,” said John P. Carlin on the CBS Evening News after charges were filed against Elena Alekseevna Khusyaynova, a Russian nationalist accused of conspiring to interfere with the 2018 U.S. midterm elections.
