22 Oct 2020

Deanne Maynard was a guest on Law360’s podcast “The Term” where she discussed the importance of female clerks at the Supreme Court.

“It’s definitely been, in many ways, the cornerstone of my career,” Deanne said about the time she spent as a clerk. “I doubt that I would be the co-chair of the Appellate + Supreme Court practice at Morrison & Foerster without having done my Supreme Court clerkships. It was [also] key in my being able to get the job at the Solicitor General’s office.”

Listen to the podcast. Deanne’s interview is in Episode 4 of Season 2, beginning at the 8:27 timestamp.
