Amber Smith is an associate in the Banking and Finance group in Morrison Foerster’s London office. She advises borrowers, private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as banks and direct lenders, on domestic and cross-border leveraged, private credit, asset-backed and real estate finance transactions.
Her practice spans acquisition financings, refinancings, incremental facilities and liability management exercises across the capital structure. Amber regularly works on complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions and advises on English law security structuring, guarantor coverage and perfection mechanics, coordinating closely with US and other local counsel to implement cross-border release, accession and collateral mechanics efficiently and cohesively.
