Annel Becerra Rodriguez is a Litigation associate based in Morrison Foerster’s San Francisco office and a member of the Global Antitrust Law Practice Group.
Annel advises clients on complex litigation and competition matters across multiple industries. Her experience includes antitrust investigations, litigation, and multi-jurisdictional merger reviews before competition authorities. She also works on cross-border disputes and regulatory and investigative matters involving financial services, cybersecurity, privacy, and technology.
Annel earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she served as senior staff editor and diversity chair of the Columbia Law Review. She was also a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and the recipient of the Campbell Award.
During law school, Annel served as an appellate extern for the Center for Appellate Litigation and as a legal intern for the California Appellate Project. She also worked as a Policy and Immigration Defense extern for Bronx Defenders. In addition, Annel was a member of the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic and served as a mediator with the Mediation Clinic.
Annel earned her B.A. in legal studies and Chicano studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
