David Asadi is an associate in the firm’s London office and a member of the Litigation Group.

David advises clients on internal investigations, regulatory enforcement matters and litigation. He has experience advising on investigations and disputes involving multinational corporations in the IT and financial services industries, particularly on corporate governance failures and systems and controls issues.

David studied law at Monash University, where he later taught Evidence Law as a Teaching Associate.

Before joining Morrison Foerster, David was an enforcement lawyer at Australia’s corporate and financial services regulator. During this time, David conducted and advised on complex investigations and litigation against financial institutions and assisted federal prosecutors in determining whether to bring charges against them. These included several cases arising from a high-profile public inquiry into the banking and financial services industry.

David is admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia.
