Laura Steen is of counsel based in the London office of Morrison Foerster and is a member of the Litigation Group.
Laura advises UK and international clients on general and complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution. She represents individuals and companies in a wide range of matters, including international and cross-border commercial contracts disputes, trusts disputes, fraud claims, directors’ duties disputes and contentious insolvency. Laura has experience representing both claimants and defendants in relation to pre-litigation strategy and in large-scale commercial litigation before the English High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. Laura has also represented individuals and companies during investigations or prosecutions by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) and other regulatory bodies.
Laura received her B.C.L. Intl (Hons) from University College, Dublin in 2009, her Master in Business, Law and Economics from Université Paul Cézanne Aix-Marseille III, her Masters of Law from the University of Bologna and her European Master of Laws in Law and Economics from the University of Ghent concurrently in 2010, and her LPC from the University of Law, London in 2013.
