Matt Wyatt is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison Foerster’s Los Angeles office.

Matt represents clients in high-stakes litigation in federal and state courts. His practice focuses on data privacy litigation, consumer class actions, and complex commercial disputes throughout the country. He has experience arguing dispositive issues in multiple courts, winning motions to dismiss, and successfully opposing class certification in multimillion-dollar lawsuits. Matt also works with clients to analyze risks and develop strategies for complex legal problems across practice areas.

Before joining Morrison Foerster, Matt earned his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Williams College. While in law school, Matt was an associate editor of the Journal of Business Law. He also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Vivian L. Medinilla of the Delaware Superior Court. Before law school, Matt modeled risk across a wide array of financial products and asset classes for a major bank.
