Will Lawther is an associate in the Employment + Labor Group of Morrison Foerster’s San Francisco office.

Will represents employers facing a range of employment and labor matters, such as single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims, putative wage-and-hour class and representative actions, and labor relations claims. Will also counsels clients on a variety of issues across the employment life cycle including employment agreements, timekeeping practices (e.g., minimum wage, overtime, meal breaks, and rest breaks), accommodations, reductions in force, and separation agreements, among others.

Will’s employment and labor practice is enhanced by his commercial litigation experience, including representing businesses in contract, negligence, and fraud cases.

Will received his J.D. from UCLA Law. During law school, Will served as an extern in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. Additionally, Will was a managing editor of the UCLA Journal of Law & Technology and received Legal Research & Writing and Conflict of Laws academic awards.
