Nick Kennedy is an associate in the Litigation Department in Morrison & Foerster’s Washington, D.C. office.
His practice includes advising clients on sensitive matters relating to national security and global risk and crisis management, as well as on cybersecurity and data privacy issues.
Nick received his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center where he was a student advocate in the Appellate Litigation Clinic, Exceptional Pro Bono Pledge Honoree, and Administrative Editor of the Journal of National Security Law & Policy. During law school, he interned at the U.S. Department of Justice in the National Security Division’s Counterterrorism section, as well as in the chambers of Judge Evan J. Wallach in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and Judge Timothy J. Kelly in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
Before law school, Nick served as an active duty intelligence officer in the U.S. Air Force and currently serves as an Air Force Reserve officer supporting the Joint Staff Directorate for Intelligence.
