Environmental, social and, governance (ESG) concerns are becoming increasingly integral to the work of investors and board members. This month, Suz Mac Cormac will participate in a virtual roundtable co‑hosted by the Weinberg Center and the Ceres Accelerator for Sustainable Capital Markets to discuss how corporate boards can best address ESG issues. The Roundtable participants will review Ceres’ report, “Running the Risk: How Corporate Boards Can Oversee Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Issues,” which highlights how boards can oversee ESG to avoid critical, financial, and legal risks or challenges associated with crises such as climate change, water scarcity, and human rights.
