In celebration of International Women's Day 2022, MoFo hosted a special webinar, and was delighted to have guest speakers, Eriko Suzuki, managing director of Japan’s first ESG focused Venture Capital Fund, MPower Partners, and Sophie Guerin, Head of Diversity & Inclusion, APAC at Johnson & Johnson.

Joined by MoFo Partners Shirin Tang and Yuka Teraguchi, who sit on the firm's Women's Strategy Committee, this year's International Women's Day theme, #BreakTheBias, discussed the following topics:

  • Championing and overcoming gender diversity in the workplace
  • Strategies to #BreakTheBias
  • The future of gender diversity in Asia

Eriko Suzuki has a distinguished career in private equity, venture capital, and investment banking and, in addition to being managing director of MPower Partners, is founder of an inclusive wellness and sustainability community, MIKO Holistic Wellness. She is also the author of a book on the future of work—How we live, will be how we work (Daiwashobo, 2018).

Sophie Guerin is a recognized expert on diversity & inclusion in Asia, and she is co-author of "Examining Diversity & Inclusion from an Asian Perspective". She is Co-Chair and founding member of the American Chamber of Commerce Singapore Women in Business Committee and a founding member of its China Women’s Professional Committee.
