Noncompetes: So Goes California, So Goes the Country?

On Monday, July 31st from 12pm-1pm PST, Morrison Foerster partner Gene Novikov will be speaking on an SFIPLA panel, entitled "Noncompetes: So Goes California, So Goes the Country?" The panel will focus on noncompetes and the various approaches jurisdictions have taken in the past - and the anticipated movement from various governmental actors in the near future. In particular, the panel will discuss the Federal Trade Commission’s recent proposed rules on noncompetes, the recent memorandum from the National Labor Relations Board’s General Counsel, and proposed legislation around the country.
