MoFo Palo Alto
Morrison Foerster is excited to announce that we will be hosting a two-track, in-person Pitch Day in Palo Alto on September 26.
We invite companies to submit their pitch decks for one of our two pitch sessions – the first geared toward the life sciences sector, and the second focused on general technology innovation. Finalists will have the opportunity to pitch to a panel of local venture capitalists focused on their chosen sector. Prior to Pitch Day, MoFo will also offer finalists mentoring sessions to advise on pitch delivery and supporting materials.
To submit your pitch deck for consideration, please send a non-confidential deck and any relevant questions to PitchDayPA@mofo.com by Friday, August 9, 2024. When submitting, be sure to include which session best fits your company profile (life sciences or general technology).

Participant Criteria and Guidelines
We are looking for emerging companies in the life sciences or general technology space that are positioned for and actively seeking Seed or Series A financing rounds. For our purposes:
• Life sciences would be inclusive of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and other areas that involve the creation of products to improve the lives of organisms.
• General technology would be inclusive of companies that develop and bring technology-based products or services to the market.
You do not have to be a MoFo client to participate, and there is no fee if selected. Additionally, no prizes are awarded. Our goal is to be a resource to the startup ecosystem and provide the opportunity for startups to connect with investors.
Pitch Deck Guidelines
Please submit a shareable, non-confidential pitch deck, preferably in PDF or PowerPoint format (20 MB max.). Note that while these presentations are not subject to confidentiality agreements, they will not be shared with anyone outside of Morrison Foerster. Keep in mind that if your company is selected, you will have about four to seven minutes to present, with an additional two to three minutes set aside for investors to ask questions and to provide feedback.
Friendly reminder to be on the lookout for information on our upcoming season of ScaleUp Palo Alto, hosted in-person in our Palo Alto office, beginning October 1.
