Carbon credits are emerging as a critical tool in the global drive toward net zero. As countries and companies scale up climate ambition, international cooperation under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement is laying the foundation for high-integrity cross-border markets. At the same time, rising corporate demand is driving innovation in deal structures, from ERPAs and prepayment models to new approaches to risk allocation.

Our panel will explore how carbon credits can meaningfully support decarbonization efforts while attracting the financing needed to scale. We will discuss project funding structures and the growing role of insurance and credit enhancement products in de-risking carbon transactions.
