320 Park Avenue
New York, NY 10022
Join Rachel Fiorill, a partner in Morrison Foerster’s National Security practice and former Enforcement Section Chief at the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and Kuang Chiang, of counsel in MoFo’s National Security practice and former OFAC License Examining Officer, at ACI’s 15th New York Forum on Economic Sanctions on December 3.
Rachel will contribute to the panel titled, “Unpacking the Maximum Pressure Campaign: Where Things Stand on Iran Sanctions and the Next Phase of Supply Chain Risk & Global Compliance,” where she and her fellow panelists will explore how the renewed “maximum pressure” strategy is driving a new era of U.S. sanctions enforcement and global compliance challenges. The discussion will highlight the latest developments under EO 13902, evolving foreign policy objectives, and what businesses and financial institutions need to know to stay ahead of heightened sanctions and supply chain risks.
Kuang will be speaking on a panel titled, “Navigating the Shifting Sands of Trade and Sanctions: The Hidden, Real-World Lessons of Converging Export Controls, Tariffs, and Sanctions Enforcement,” where she and her co-panelists will examine how shifts in OFAC and DOJ enforcement priorities under the Trump 2.0 administration are reshaping the sanctions landscape. The discussion will cover key policy and personnel changes, evolving enforcement strategies, and practical guidance for businesses to anticipate and mitigate emerging compliance risks.
