RegisterThe MoFo Food & Ag Team is proud to host our Plant IP Seminar & Social at the world-renowned Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
Gene-editing technologies coupled with advances in plant breeding are rapidly revolutionizing agriculture, improving crop resilience and consumer health benefits. Our IP team of 80+ Ph.D.s and advanced degree holders is working at the forefront of this transition. We’re excited to bring together the St. Louis ecosystem of innovators, investors, academics, and corporates with some of our leading Plant IP partners to share our knowledge, connect, and network.
MoFo Food & Ag co-chair Mike Ward and partner Meghan Poon will lead a seminar on IP protection of new agriculture technologies including utility patent strategies for new traits and varieties, trade secret protection, plant variety protection (PVP) certificates, and plant patents. They will also discuss the rapidly shifting global regulatory landscape for gene-edited plants, as well as host Q&A following the session. The evening will conclude with a networking social.
