On April 29, MoFo associates Ferdinand Loo, Yiman Zhang, and Winnie Lam, along with Justice Centre Hong Kong’s Legal Services Manager Caroline Mok and Legal Officer Stephen Downie, delivered a Detention Screening Visit Workshop to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other legal practitioners in Hong Kong.The workshop introduced the key non-refoulement and immigration detention issues affecting immigration detainees, helping participants understand the context and value of legal visits for detainees.
