Morrison Foerster hosted its second annual MoForum – Technology and the Future of Music, bringing together industry executives, technologists, investors, musicians, and advisers to explore the technologies, trends, and partnerships shaping the future of the music industry.
The first day of this two-day program featured thought-provoking discussions on AI, music catalogs, immersive experiences, artist and fan engagement, and the intersection of emerging technologies and music culture. The event provided a forum for industry leaders to exchange ideas, share insights, and examine the opportunities and challenges arising from rapid technological innovation.
The day began with welcome remarks from Spencer Klein, partner at Morrison Foerster, followed by a keynote address from Eliah Seton, CEO of SoundCloud.
Throughout the day, speakers from across the music, technology, finance, and media sectors participated in panels and fireside chats on:
