21 May 2026 10:15 AM - 11:30 AM EDT
New York Marriott Marquis
1535 Broadway
New York, NY 10036
RegisterMorrison Foerster’s Restructuring + Insolvency Group partner Doug Mannal will moderate a panel discussion, “Concurrent: Litigation Roundup,” at ABI’s New York City Bankruptcy Conference on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 10:15 a.m.–11:30 a.m. EDT.
The panel will explore key bankruptcy litigation issues that are currently the subject of significant interest and debate. It will cover recent challenges arising from liability management exercises (LMEs), including minority lender objections, the extent to which LMEs may insulate secured claims from challenges in subsequent bankruptcy cases, and their interplay with debtor-in-possession financing and roll-ups. They will also discuss venue disputes, recent adequate protection and priming fights, as well as developments in post-confirmation litigation trusts.
The panel will conclude with a discussion of the increasing use of artificial intelligence in bankruptcy litigation and restructuring practices in general and will focus on how practitioners can leverage AI to enhance their work.
The New York City Bankruptcy Conference is one of ABI’s largest and most prestigious events—and one of the most significant gatherings of insolvency and restructuring professionals in the New York metro area.
