Megan Gerking Speaks on AI-Enabled Collusion at WWCDA Global Enforcement and Compliance Series
22 Sep 2026
Morrison Foerster partner Megan Gerking spoke at Part 3 of the Women’s White Collar Defense Association’s (WWCDA) 2026 Global Enforcement & Compliance Series, a four-part program for WWCDA members, alumni, clients, and friends that brings together government officials, in-house counsel, and practitioners to discuss current enforcement and compliance issues.
The luncheon program, “Old Crimes, New Code: AI-Enabled Collusion and How AI Is Reshaping White Collar Exposure,” examined how artificial intelligence (AI) is changing criminal and regulatory risk for companies and their counsel. After opening remarks from Daniel W. Glad, Acting Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Criminal Enforcement at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Antitrust Division, on the Division’s approach to algorithmic price-fixing and AI-enabled collusion, Megan joined a panel discussion offering a defense-side perspective. The panel worked through a timely hypothetical in which AI tools sit at the center of a potential investigation, focusing on the practical questions companies and their counsel face in that scenario.
A former trial attorney in the DOJ Antitrust Division’s criminal enforcement program, Megan advises clients on government investigations, merger reviews, and civil antitrust litigation, drawing on her enforcement experience to help clients manage global antitrust risk.
