The Emerging Manager Symposium

Morrison Foerster, in partnership with Kauffman Fellows, hosted a special session designed exclusively for emerging managers.

The event was kicked off by Kauffman Fellows CEO Fernando Fabre discussing Zero to Four, Kauffman Fellows’ research examining the defining characteristics of a successful venture capital firm.

Afterwards, Elizabeth Sipes, Morrison Foerster private funds partner, Joyce Zhang from the Wallace Foundation, and Jeremy Shure from Stella Direct Ventures joined Fernando for a panel discussion. They shared their perspectives on today’s fundraising environment, what they look for in emerging managers, and how new firms can differentiate themselves.
