UT Law CLE's 2026 Advanced Patent Law Institute

Matthew Chivvis will speak on “Who May Sue: Patent Standing Issues and Implications for the Life Sciences Industry (Part II)” at UT Law CLE’s 31st Annual Advanced Patent Law Institute. Matthew will discuss complex patent standing issues relevant to life sciences companies, including exclusive field-of-use licenses, corporate control over patent owners, trust arrangements, and mid-litigation transfers of patent rights, as well as Federal Circuit case law and considerations for structuring patent ownership and assignments.
