The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has published two linked notices proposing the most significant restructuring of small business size standards in decades. The first notice provides the analytical framework behind the changes, while the second notice provides the proposed new size standards for 338 industry groups/industries. Comments on both are due 30 days after Federal Register publication (published 8/20/2026).
