Transactions involving the creation of de-special purpose acquisition companies (de-SPACing) will increase this year, particularly in Asia, a senior lawyer with Morrison & Foerster has predicted. Mitchell Presser, partner with Morrison & Foerster in New York on Thursday, said "de-SPACing" is the final stage in the merger between a SPAC and the target company, which takes the formerly private assets public.
