Stuart Alford is a partner based in the Corporate Group.Stuart’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, reorganizations and general corporate advisory matters. He has particular experience in the technology space, and regularly advises European, Asian and U.S.-based clients on complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions and investments.Prior to joining Morrison Foerster in 2017, Stuart trained and practiced in the London and Hong Kong offices of an international law firm. During that appointment, he was seconded to a leading investment bank where he assisted with a range of transactions across Europe and the Middle East.Stuart received his M.A. (Hons.) degree in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews, and his law degree from the College of Law, London. Spencer Klein is Chair of the firm's global Mergers & Acquisitions Group.Spencer focuses his practice on M+A transactions and related matters such as proxy contests and takeover defense counseling. He has advised on more than 200 successfully closed mergers, tender and exchange offers, stock and asset acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures. He is also a veteran of numerous contested matters and regularly counsels corporate boards and committees in transactional and high-profile corporate governance matters.Spencer frequently advises leading U.S. and multinational companies across multiple industries. His engagements include multi-billion dollar deals in health care and life sciences, financial services, technology, consumer products, manufacturing, retail, energy, and entertainment, media and sports. In addition to prominent corporate clients and private equity funds, he has represented some of the world's leading bulge bracket and boutique investment banks.Spencer also co-chairs the firm’s Interactive and Digital Media group, an interdisciplinary team that operates at the convergence of technology with media and entertainment.Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Spencer was a partner at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, McDermott Will & Emery LLP and Shearman & Sterling LLP. Omid Kheradmand is an Associate based in the London office of Morrison & Foerster and is a member of the Corporate Group.Omid advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, private equity, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and general corporate advisory matters. He has experience advising multinational organizations, private equity investors, management teams and high net worth individuals across a number of industry sectors, including technology, telecommunications, energy and real estate.Omid studied LL.B Law (Hons) (First Class) at the University of Manchester and was subsequently awarded his LL.M (Distinction) in Public International Law, also from the University of Manchester. He then completed his Legal Practice Course at BPP University in 2017.Before joining Morrison & Foerster, Omid trained and practiced at an international law firm. During this time, he also spent six months seconded to his firm’s Paris office.Omid is qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales.
